Shift Overrides Overview

When you are scheduling staff and/or resources, you may see an alert that warns staffing shifts is not allowed if there are conflicts. You can override a resource with over lapping shifts, or one that is double booked. But it is always best practice to review the schedule and if needed, schedule an alternative resource or staff member. There may be exceptions, when a resource is caring for more one client with the same address, such as a husband and wife.

For each branch there is a shift setup for the employees that is considered a standard shift. Override shifts overrides the standard shift and the employee is paid based on the override shift rather than the standard shift.
