Overview of Eligibility Payer ID Setup 

To send Eligibility Verification requests, you must associate the appropriate Eligibility Payer ID to the Payer. If you have a Payer with multiple addresses, there can be distinct Eligibility Payer IDs specific to each state or plan.

You can map an Eligibility Payer ID to multiple Payers. For example, if you have multiple Payer records with different addresses and the Payer uses one Eligibility Payer ID for all its plans/addresses.
