Moving Multiple Appointments to Correct an Authorization
When you have changes in a client payer or insurance, you can move multiple appointment from one authorization to another. For example, as a biller you need to move multiple appointments to the correct authorization rather than moving each appointment individually. This saves time and assists to ensure timely billing.
From the client chart, click Financial Record, and click Authorizations.
Select Move Appointments.
Select New Authorization and select the appointments to be moved.
For each appointment, click in the Authorized Services field to select from available services.
Note
A message appears if the authorization change does not pass validation checks and if the appointment cannot be moved.
