Managing Personal Contacts

A patient may have 1 or more personal contacts that have input or impact on their care. Example: Emergency Contact, Power of Attorney or Guardian.

Personal Contacts appear on the printable face sheet.

  • While Personal contact information is not specifically required, it is considered best practice to maintain information for at least one contact for the patient.

  • When entering the contact information, select from one or multiple contact types. Select as many as are appropriate for the contact.

  1. From Client Details of the patient chart, click Contacts and click Add.

  2. Enter the necessary contact information and click Accept.
